Michael Killian, MSOM, LAc, Diplomate in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

Michael Killian, practitioner and founder of Madison Community Acupuncture since 2009, completed his four- year Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Michael is nationally board certified through the NCCAOM and is licensed by the state of Wisconsin. Michael has performed over 100,000 acupuncture treatments since opening Madison Community Acupuncture. Michael studied psychology, nutrition, and nursing in his undergraduate studies at Edgewood College where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree.

Lymestop Cranio Biotic Technique (CBT)
Dr. Klinghardt Autonomic Response Technique (ART) 1-3

Michael has further developed his training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by studying under the masters: Dr. Tan, Dr. Jimmy Chang, Dr. Chen, Dr. Zhang, Hyung Suk Choi, Dr. Chu, Seung Choi, Bob Doane, Cole Magbanua, to name a few.

He studied Integrative Medicine with Tsu-Tsair Chi NMD & PhD , Ben Lynch ND, Roberta Lee MD.

Michael has also studied various forms of bodywork including Tao Shiatsu, Tui Na, and Thai Massage in addition to completing his yoga teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.

When he's not found working with needles and herbs at the clinic, Michael enjoys being outside hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing. Indoors, you would find him cooking delicious, nourishing food for his family, practicing yoga, and most often playing with his children.
